    BFC Transfer Watch

Players Out: Steele; O'Grady; Frimpong; O'Brien; Mellis; Cywka; Dawson; Clark; Cofie; Etuhu; Lawrence, McCourt; Patterson; Shillito; Sousa; Tunnicliffe; Turner; Tom Kennedy; Woods; Hassell; Jones

When you look at the list of players that left in the close season, have many of those would you have back that would benefit the current squad?

    Tunnicliffe probably

    O'Grady possibly

I don't think we will miss any of the others

i wouldn't have O'Grady back, the strikers we have now are better IMO, and COG would influence a hoof ball style too much...

I wouldn't have Steele back, as i think Turnbull is capable, although i think Steele is better, Turnbull is very good at this level, and Steele is too expensive.

    I'd have Ramage back, though

Even though he was earning more than Steele , you would have him back, but Steele was too expensive? How does that one work then ?

I wouldn't have any at the minute cos we've got cover in every position.

I didn't want O'Grady, Rose or Hassell to go though & wouldn't have minded O'Brien staying

    Steele.

I think O Grady would also do a great job, but Steele would be my first choice.

I'd prefer us to pay more for a Defender than a 'keeper. Turnbull is good enough in there, for a lot less money. Ramage, while expensive, would be better value for money.

Cywka or JOB as I think we're a bit light out wide. The rest have been replaced so we all move on.

Not seen Turnbull play yet, so not sure how much he's improved since last time, sooooo maybe Steele.

O'Grady, possibly. But, looking at the players we've got now & the way we're playing, do ya know what.... I'm happy with what we've got.

It's a journey, just like it was in 94, when Danny came first time. If we play like we did Saturday, then I'm going to enjoy going to Oakwell for a change, and if we get some tangible reward at the end of it, then fine by me.

NONE , daftest post ever in then history of this board IMHO

they were either *****, deadwood or thowt they were better than what they actually were. AND I am sure Wilson saw this... in all the list that's now left.
The only player I would have liked to still have on our books is Stones... but we were never ever gonna be able to keep that lad.
