... upfront next Saturday? Scotland has seemed more effective coming off the bench in games rather than starting, O'Grady has done well but has been feeding off scraps in the last few games and hasn't been able to make much of an impact. I'd like to see Daggers start with either Harewood/O'Grady
Dagnall and O'Grady. I don't think harewood offers enough of a threat attacking and as you say Scotland appears to be a bit better coming off the bench but more importantly Dagnall doesn't seem to get into the game quick enough coming off the bench so he's more effective starting and then when he tires swap him for Scotland. harewood would be kept in reserve for the huddersfield game where, if we do the job on saturday we'll only need a point and he can play to try and hold the ball up for 90 minutes.
Personally I woiuld go with Daggers and Harewood - purely because that was the combination that started our run of form in Jan and Feb and bring Scotland on with 60 mins gone But I can see a case for starting OGrady instead of Harewood Daggers must start and Scotland to come on in the second half The critical thing is we have had a weeks rest and have some players back so we can go back to the high energy style of play we were using until the players ran out of steam having to play 2 games a week for a while
The ball hasn't been sticking up front recently when weve played the early ball, so we havent been able to move the midfield up in support and the ball has come straight back at us. So I think I'd play harewood and cog to start with, which would give us two big lads to aim for, rather than one. Both are mobile enough to do the running off the ball for the flick ons too.
