OK ignoring the financial side, so assume he'd do it for the challenge. I know he quit Sunderland because he couldn't take them any further, or at least that's the public side of it, but the thing with our squad is they are actually bloody good on paper and I just think it needs someone who can kick their arses and start making them play with some passion and commitment. I'd keep Davey on as a scout because he seems to be able to locate good players, he's just got a poor grasp on what to do with them when they're here.
Do you honestly believe that Simon Davey is the one finding these players across the world? Naive if you think that he is the one scouting the players
Go back and read the message again especially the bit where I said ".... assume he'd do it for the challenge." i.e. he'd not be in it for the money, because there isn't much.
Right so your boss says... Not really cutting the mustard mate at this accountancy lark so I've got a job putting all the files away instead.
I'm knocking your 60k a year salary as well down to a part time Saturday job withan occasional Tuesday and Wednesday thrown in.
200 quid a month alright?

I'd have Keano......... I think he'd come. Afterall he'd be earning more than he's earning now. Would give the players a kick up the arse aswell.
Personally I'd rather have somebody other than Roy Keane but given the current circumstances and the present incumbent of the position I'd take Roy Rogers.
