    Not much warning

    turned to face ball about 2 yds away. Tried the header meaning it hit my forehead and nasal bridge rather than my jaw.

    Like hitting a windscreen

    Pretty certain it was Nads.

    We were a few rows forward of you. Both Richards and Nardy were trying to see who the ball had hit.

    get a letter to club done

    ive seen tons of folk get walloped and the players just think its funny. Can remember when devaney took an old dear out - he ended up coming right up into the ponty to apologise.

    Anyone see that ball nearly hit commentary shed?

    Whether it was deliberate or not I don't know but it came from that same little group of players ie. Nads I think

    was told Stadium manager was at lunch and would call me straight back.

    Yeah reyt course he did.... NOT!!!!

    Tried again at 4.15 pm but everyone had gone home
