Decent book. Went to pieces at the end. You read a book in a week? I didn't realise they did an illustrated Penguin version. Like Pingu, or summat. Seems I just infringed Hartog's copyright. That sounds very wrong.
no mate that pedigree chum thing was crazy, thought it was quite admirable until he started putting razorblades in baby food..
yeah its a bit sick but i think the worst one was about the jamie bulger killing, i didnt realise exactly what had happned before i read it in there
Just read The Algebraist by Ian M Banks. It's no Crow Road, and I have serious doubts that any of the events actually happened - but apart from that it was half decent. I'm now moving on to "That's not my dolly" for the under 12 months. Should be a challenge. "That's not my dolly, her dress is too spotty" "That's not my dolly, her shoes are too bumpy" "That's not my dolly, her hair ties are too shiny" "That's not my dolly, her hair is too frizzy" "That's my dolly - her bows are so silky". I'm struggling to understand the plot.
Picking Up The Pieces Picking up the pieces, but i dont think it is as good as the Jigsaw Man, which does hit the emotions, especially on the Jamie Bulger story. Remember reading it about 7 years ago with tears in my eyes on a flight back from Oz.
