RE: wombwell dog track hey Uncle this is the story sadly for me that day it is TrUE very true i was on Leave ,it was before i went to Korea i was nearing the end of my leave when one day i was in Birdwell Club i had ten BOB left the local taxi driver asked me if i wanted to go to Hough lane dogs for the afternoon i told him i had only ten BOB no problems ,he paid for me in no i cant remember wether or not it was races or 8 races (this is Unbelievable) he left me,and said i will be back in a tick he came back and said back,this one well i did not,and it won, not big prices but it won you think thats the end,oh no, he did the same again and each time the dog won every race he gave me the Winner when i told him i still had my ten bob there id not enough room on this site
