Was told yesterday that both Michael Appleton and Billy Davies had meetings with the board.

Was also told last night Mick McCarthy is a strong favourite and could be named over the weekend.

NOW:::::Steve Lomas is apparently set for an interview.

I read an article last night that Harry Redknapp has declared his interest in the Blackburn job. Another job that has been rumoured to be attracting some big names. Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is also apparently set to be subject of an approach from Rovers.

Don't know what to believe myself to be honest.

Paddy Power is reporting he's took a 2 grand bet on Carl Robinson being the next Palace manager, so therefore he as reinstalled him as the new fav at 6/4, so that's not happening then, so the 9/2 about Barnsley Mick might represent good value,

I've took 8/1 about Sean Dyche on Sunday for the Burnley job, i think them two fit like a hand in a glove. and now he's 1/4 he would look like he's had a chat at some point

As for Blackburn i can't see anyone being daft enough to want to work for them jokers, so it looks like another promote from within like last time, and black as never been a big enough price to back so i've left well alone, its hard to predict what people who know about the game will do, so with this lot you've no chance.
