Mick in Oz - you must be nearly there already?

At GMT +3, I'll be popping the champers at 9 o'clock your time. Any advance?

    it's not too bad.......

..... -8 and getting warmer unfortunately, which will mean rivers of black sludge running down the street by Monday. Only got back from the UK on Thursday, apparently Wednesday was -18, which could bite!

    do they......

.....celebrate our New Year or Chinese New Year there? My mate is in Shanghai and I think things are quite low-key there. The year of the dog starts on the 29th Jan I believe.

Get your tickets early for the Ashes series. It will be a sellout everywhere. Already there is very little hotel accomodation left in all cities when the matches are on.

It is going to 'massive' (sorry)
