Who's got the most assists for us this season? nt

    I'm never too sure how they classify an "assist"?

    eg Hassell did a superb crossfield ball to the far post against Blackpool-Hayes headed it down and Nardy's shot was saved by the keeper and Howard knocked in the rebound</p>

    so who gets the &quot;assist&quot; ? Hayes maybe but only cos of Bobby's great ball</p>

    Technically the assist..

    is the final pass. In which case, I'd guess Hayes, with Shuker second.

    For that situation there would be no assist.

    An assist has to be the last person to pass or head the ball before the scorer, basically, scores.
