    Me. Kids absolutely love 'em. Maple Syrup for the young 'uns - sugar & lemon for me and Mrs Finn. Just made the batter, in fact - in the fridge. Allus makes better pancakes after standing.

    Reminded me of a debate we were having at work the other day.

    Treacle is the very dark, almost black substance, then theres Golden Syrup.

    However, as a kid (and still now) we referred to Golden Syrup as treacle.

    So is it syrup or treacle to you?

    but it only goes on those big puffy golden yourkshires made in bread tins after Sunday lunch... mmmm.... not had that in years

    Yeah we used to get spoilt rotten with flour and water evey year..sometimes I couldn't even wait..</p>

    Nowadays kids get things for their birthdays that we would never even dreamt of owning as a family.</p>

    Little spoilt barstables..</p>

    Get on pit top and riddle some coal out ya little fecker...</p>
