4 of us going, Bluebird is there any chance of there being a designated away fans pub close to the ground?

No, no designated away fans pubs - they do in the City Center if a large following come by train though.

Best away-fan friendly pub I know of is this one http://www.lansdownepubcardiff.co.uk/ - about a 5-10 minute walk. As you're facing the stadium, walk to your left up to the lights, turn right. Go under railway bridge pass the Ninian Park pub. Don't be tempted. Walk to the traffic lights 50yds up and turn left. Lansdowne is about 500yds around a bend and on the right hand side.

Another is the Cornwall, again 5-10 minute walk - at your end of the ground. Head up past the stadium for about 500yds until you come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left and the Cornwall is about 500yds further down.

I only say the Cornwall because it's in here http://www.footballgroundguide.com/cardiff.htm as good for away fans. I know the Lansdowne is though.

As I said elsewhere, I'll be in Canton rugby club (turn left just past new stadium building site). There's been plenty of away fans in there recently, notably Southampton, and no bother.

I wouldn't advise drinking in the main street pubs in Canton though :)S)
