You may have to ask the Preston fans to join in if you want to make it worthwhile. A group of ten or twelve doth not make much of a protest.
I'll join one if there's one happening. Might at least get one of the owners to front up like they were forced to at AS Nancy.
I was thinking the same........ Seen it on social media earlier but think it could be a tad embarrassing.
I dont think it matters who is behind it, if you are unhappy about whats going on at the club then turn up and lets see what the strength of feeling is. Should be reds united not groups here and groups there slagging each other off. Red Army.
I agree. However preparation and organisation is so important in protest. If there was anything to take from the Conway Out campaign, it was that. I don’t know anything about it so I’m not going to criticise it. But I also need to know enough about it, to participate. Do you know where can I find more information? Does anyone?
Think the only protest will be a 50% reduction in ST renewals. Barnsley folk aren't much like the French, they don't seem to do protests these days. Apathy seems to be the way....
Why is it being organised outside the club shop? It should be on Grove Street shouldn’t it where the directors and media are? On a matchday outside the shop you’ll only get the attention of the shop staff? The club will probably just drop the shutters early Just a thought anyway
That`s where protests congregated in the past. Although a group forming on Grove Street maybe seen as a group forming for trouble with Preston fans.
I think the ownership and the club are aware of the supporters and townsfolk feelings. I don't see it making a difference to what happens at the club in the immediate future. Sorry but I'm just cynical, why would you change your mind or plans, based on the views of others? Same with petitions, it doesn't change government behaviours.
We need to turn up with our torches and pitch forks and storm the stadium through the hole in the West Stand wall. The trebuchet will be planted near the Mount.
Imho...get the French guys in to show us the way. We will be worried about offending someone with a strongly worded letter! (written in apologetic manner of course, we don't want to upset senior management).
Oh and then quote...at the end thanks for everything you are doing in these hard times ....at least we aren't Bury or Oldham!
