Whos proud to come from Barnsley

i am for one, why shouldnt i be

 

Most people are proud of their birthplace

And/Or where they grew up, regardless of what sort of a shitehole it is

i'm so proud to come from Barnsley, i love the whole concept that is Barnsley, the history, the accent, the folk etc..., and i recon i will never live anywhere other than Barnsley.

 

Is barnsley a shithole though

i dont think so, compared to rotherham and sheffield and other places doncaster and tranmere i fink barnsley is a feckin nice place,

and after what happened with me and my mates when we went to tranmere a feckin good place to come from where people stick up for there mates and stick together

in yer face defiance, and defence of where we live ? I "think" I would like to live somewhere warm near the sea etc etc but itd be too far to travel on a Setdi aft.

Im moving out of Barnsley and it'll be the best thing Ive ever done.
But Ill still be proud of wher ei came from.

i did'nt move here till i were 16 , but it's home & and i'm also very proud to tell anyone i'm from barnsley , brilliant folk ,always ready to take the piss out of themselves , they're aint a place like it ..i love it ....(dancin) .. it's friday , (blaze) , if you like a bet 2.1 to us get your money on

Dewsbury mind you they used to be ok then (muslims i mean )the reason i ended up in barnsley were mining 'pits' my dad bless his soul got made redundant at haigh 'colliery' and i had to leave thornhill pit in dewsbury to move with the family over here ( best move what ever could have happened to me ),,(doh) .. no in all seriousness i were sick of the women over there . they kept praying all time thought it were for me ..(dunno) . it were'nt .....tarn's a lot better . you've got to dechipher all this good look (blaze) (blaze) . you're mate mcdog he needs to chill a bit ....(bummers)
