    Gosh that's hard...

... agree about Dalgleish, but Eddie Gray, Johnny Giles, Rud Guliett, Bryan Robson, I have to say the best 'modern' one has to be Bergkamp !!!!!

    Zidane

I got a freebie to watch Manure & Juve in the Champions League.

Before the game, I had no idea who he was. But, he was pure magic from start to finish.

BTW, Roy Keane "filled in" a centre-back for Manchester United and was also superb. Eric Cantona played - and sadly, he looked badly out of shape and well past his best.

at Bellie Vue before the World Cup. When the supposed stars didn't turn up Gazza did, and demonstrated what a great footballer he was. He even apologised to our keeper.

Alan Simonsen - I pretty sure he was turning out for Barcelona - c.1978 - they played at Forest - he was European footballer of the year at the time and I had no idea why... until then. He was completely weedy, but enough of such insults.

    My Dad.

Would have been England Centre Half had he not had his hip smashed to pieces.
Played alongside Billy Wright at Wolves.
