Someone on Radio Sheffield (not sure if it was the host or a caller) a few days ago said it was Ritchie Jones. (Man Utd). Whether it is I don't know, but thats the rumour.
No chance unfortunately. Oldham are going for promotion, so letting their mate centre midfielder player go out on loan would not make sense. But come the summer when he is out of contract, i would love to have him on board for nothing.

RE: i think we were linked with him over the summer i hope all these signings does not disrupt team play to the extent we have individuals with talents and no real team players. on the other hand if the newcomers and existing players fit in to the extent that Ronnie wall work did before his unfortunate accident we have the potential to be a team to be reckoned with over 90/or 94 minutes as on Tuesday. everything to play for. emergency loan window opens february 7th,the club will be keeping the identity close to there chests ,we don't want to get gazumped again!
Davey has got 2 possibilities in mind One possible from Watford, not sure about t'other. Either could be in by next Wednesday.
