A Dutch mate told me that a TV satire show has an Afellay watch where they show slo-mo footage of him sat on the bench or in the stands (he rarely gets a game).
But they signed him in January 2011, and he barely featured that season. He's behind Pedro, Sanchez, Tello and Thiago in the pecking order. They'd need a Munich-esque incident for him to get a regular start. It was a strange signing.
he was in front of Pedro until he got crippled in training, really good player.. now Tello and Cuenca have come through he'll probably get sold on.
