Bolton Wanderers and Huddersfield Town are great. Alfred McCalpine knows how to make a ground. New Wembley is quality. A work of art surrounded by a ****hole area. Southampton new ground St Marys is very good, as is the pre match entertainment on the big screen. Madjeski Stadium. Everything we would want from our ground. Great view, friendly stewards, spirits available, over a dozen there to serve a few hundred so served quickly, smoking area for away fans so they don't have to sneak one in the bogs, known bookies in Ladbrokes to put on a bet, massive HD screen so you can watch the Sky game, cheaper food/drink than us and coaches that get sent on their way by five past five no messing about. Sports Direct Arena. To say you have to go up like 17 flights of stairs to get to your seat the view is pretty damn good.
Reebok Stadium Great views and easy access to motorways albeit after getting past the retail park traffic.
Having been to Man u in the last week, I would say that their ground is brilliant. Not been to the new arsenal ground. view at Liverpool is shocking, same at Everton, though I love the character of that ground. The rest are characterless bowls aren't they?
Beg to differ .... Bolton, boxing day prem lg. Row 26 wet through. 90mins after the match is over were still in the car park. huddersfield isn't even a football ground in my opinion. I just don't like those slopey sides.
Millenium Stadium The people involved with the Wembley rebuild/budget should hang their heads in shame.
Emirates, superb seats and superb finish to the stands, like Wembley, but Emirates is better for my money having been twice to both now.
Barcelona , just a great atmosphere and experience. Stadium of Light Lisbon same as Barca, I really looked forward to going to Milan, but I was disappointed , not sure why though. Oh and Stranraer, what a ***** hole that is, but the fans are great.
Molineux is a personal favorite. Its spot on and I remember in 96-97 when we drew, going away thinking, wow, wish we had a set up like that. The statues on the corners around it, the colour scheme, and the atmosphere - especially that day - is always decent. It always baffles we why they made our new stands cream coloured with very little red or white.. t0ssers
Remember going a few seasons ago. Home fans in the Steve Bull upper were spitting down on us. Pre match entertainment and half time entertainment involved an Elvis act who couldn't get the crowd to sing "the wonder of you" when putting the mic to the fans. Also our one and only official coach was the only coach not set upon at full time by their animals, as it was parked closest to the stadium. They do have a cracking food hut outside the ground though that sells massive warm beef, pork etc baguettes. Coach turns right past their massive club shop into the car park, to be greeted by a dozen pre teen boys giving us Vs and wan-ker signs.
