Every Barnsley supporter is hurting like hell tonight. Every one of us. So why do some feel the need to point score over issues like what makes them a better fan than others? Or, why any particular player on today's display is worthy of sneering comments (based purely upon a personal dislike of a player, rather than his actual ability) when no one had a good game?
We're all angry. we're all in pain. Not just a few selective individuals.

Ive took a fair deal of stick over the last few years regarding a certain player his performance today summed up the points that i have been making for that period of time

What a load of crap - every player had a stinker today - we were totally flat all over the pitch. "A certain player" has played very well for a number of consecutive games, as have the rest of the team, but that counts for nothing does it, because, like everyone else, he has ONE bad one and that justifies his demonisation?

Given that the number of games on the bounce he has just played where he has been excelllent far outweigh the ONE bad one he has just had, I would say it is much easier for everyone else to justify the fact that the points you have been making are b0llocks.

    We win as a team

We lose as a team. I thought we were supposed to be in this together.
    But you carry on.

Great post!.....and your previous one too.
The fans in the ground today were superb. Cheering the lad on even at 0-6 down with 9 players.
thats what we need; not all the destructive criticism of a set of players who are putting their heart and soul into this club.

And your points that you've made would hold credence if it wasn't for the fact that today was a very rare off day for Hassell. Or do you just ignore his contributions over the last few weeks?

ALL the players today were poor. Some more than others. But with just 4 games of the season left and our second tier status on the line I don't believe now is the time to be singling out individuals, be it at the game OR online.

If one player only, had a nightmare that cost us today, I'd understand posts such as yours, slightly. But the TEAM was poor in their performance today, and we got punished by a very clinical side who I have to say were one of the best I've seen at Oakwell this term.

Yes I'm frustrated. Yes the table makes for grim viewing. And boy am I pissed off that we're now down to the barest of bones (slightly self-inflicted, too).

But for us to attack each other (as some have on here today) or our players/manager, I see no sense in it at all.

We've seen over the last 4 months what this team and manager are capable of. Which shows that today was indeed a one-off.

Let's stick together. Regroup. Keep the faith.

    You Reds.

*Totally agree with Kev's opinion by the way. As ever.

I completely agree with you JLWBL.

However, I can assure you that some of the people that sit around me take great pleasure in seeing us fail. It's like they spend their money hoping to have a good whinge about everything.

Get real Tyrone you talk out of your arse mate, Hassell has played well recently since coming back in. All the players were jaded with low energy levels. No out and out player to blame. It was a freak match and has to be forgotten. Not a good day but we are all gutted mate. We need three points somehow on Tuesday

I really can't understand it, Barry

It's probably because I'm not a real fan & admit to knowing bugger all about football. It hurts like hell, but I'll be back down there on Tuesday night, backing every lad in a Barnsley shirt.

You could well be right, mate

I only hope we can get some of those currently out with injuries fit and available for selection.
