why are barnsley council making people redundent?

    I wonder how many dinner ladies, nursery nurses,labourers, etc would have to go before the savings in wages would equal one council leaders salary?

    ain't that thetruth, holds fast right through government NHS etc, scrap all these high paid nothing jobs and employ more people at the sharp end who actually do something that contributes to the running

    some one i knew works for council she is a fat lazy git who has had several warnings,why should the council pay her wages when she spends more time at home than at work

    there is far to many staff working not just for Barnsley council but councils all over the country,costing you the tax payer millions each year.

    Give them the boot thats what i say.If abusiness cant sustain the wages they let people go,why should the council be any different
