Overlooked for a place in the England team???

Since Barry, Lampard and Gerrard quit the team we've seriously lacked a player of that nature!!

Them 2 really fit the gap left behind in my opinion

Totally agree regarding Danny Drinkwater. The England team should always be based upon form apart from the odd exception, not what they have done in recent years i.e Michael Carrick.

I a agree but Drinkwater must be worth a try. We don't really have anyone else who fulfills that role anything like as well as Drinkwater is playing these days

Drinkwater has been playing well since when? April last year? And England last played in November. It's hardly like there's been much opportunity to overlook the lad. Still, it'd be amusing to have Butland, Trippier, Stones, Drinkwater and Rodriguez all on the pitch during an England game.

I thought the same when the last England team was being selected, and the Leicester fans opinion of him at that time was that they couldn't believe he was still getting game time for them, nevermind England.

He had a very slow start to the season I think. But he'll certainly be there or thereabouts come the Euros.

Other than the always injured Wilshere name a better passer of a ball that's English & available for the national team.

I'll give you a clue. There isn't one

Gareth Barry alongside Lampard and Gerrard? Really? He was a liability at that level.

Aslong as Woy has the bottle to play Alli, Barkley and Kane then I'm happy. Somehow cant see him having the danglers to drop golden boy Rooney though so I'll not hold my breathe.

If you read back at what I wrote I was indicating that we lack a holding midfielder.......

    Try this one... Sheffield Wednesday.

It won't hurt you to say their name.
