Why are Leeds fan obsessed with attendances?

An account on Twitter said that Hull are taking about 700 fans on the 9 hour drive and all the comments are leeds fans say they took 2,000! when does attendances win games!?

 

Because its about all they have to cling to

 

...oh and I forgot to mention it really seems to wind them up if you ask them if they follow a premier league side as well

 

One of the biggest population centres in the country, large catchment area due to there not being that many teams around them, the ones that are have traditionally been lower league - looking at it like that their attendances are really bad.

 

Just got a reply from someone saying " you'd talk about attendances too but your fans are ****" haha

 

Yeah, anyway you look at it, they barely get as many as the MASSIVES, yet have a bigger city and only 1 football club in it. You add the attendences for the Pigs and Blunts together, it puts Leeds to shame really.

 

I replied to him saying that, can't wait to see his reaction

 

Attendances don't win games but it makes things much easier due to the extra money coming into the club and generating more of an atmosphere behind your club.

 

He's now stated that i spelled "geography" wrong, even thought it's spelled right

 

To stick up for Leeds, they are very big on rugby. It's quite often one of the other with a place.
