Why are people convinced they know better than Hecky?

    Do people really think they know the strengths and weaknesses, best positions or potential of any of our players better than Hecky?

    If 4-4-2 is what he believes is the best formation for our current squad, then so be it.

    I hate this old-fashioned thinking that 4-4-2 is the only way to play football.

    Whilst I dont go along wi 4-2-2 at the mo wi the players we have, 4-4-2 has served us well in the past, not so long ago and will again in the future depending on the players at our disposal.

    Hate this new age thinking that 4-4-2 doesn`t have a place in todays game.

    The guy is not a messiah. LJ did the same and I didn't see 'well if it's what he believes'.

    Poor tactics are poor tactics. Clear to see this is not working.

    4 wins in 26 games is pretty poor. If it was Lee Johnson on that run of form we would be chasing him out of town with pitchforks.

    I'm afraid if people are saying money spent is not everything and man management and tactics are just as important then Mr Heckingbottom has been found out ! .It pains me to say it but there you have it :(

    Because they are daft.

    But IMO the 451 he is having to play is a direct result of the club not getting enough or the right mix of strikers in that was needed.

    People can scream bad tactics all they want. The players we have are not good enough. In time some will improve. Hopefully we will have enough to be better than 3 other teams.

    that's going to be pushing it. Unless this imaginary take over is actually real, and they get us some championship class players in January. We have a meagre few who are capable at this level at the moment.

    I think it's as a result of not paying for good enough central midfielders to do the job the hourihane and scowen did and so having to play more of them.

    That said I don't think we or they are anywhere near as bad as people are making out

    Really will come down to how many of the squad can perform at this level. The truth is even Hecky doesn't have the answer to that question.

    I am not a big fan of 4-5-1, but with the players we have at the moment, it is our best formation... I think Hecky as got it spot on.. If we were playing 4-4-2 we would be getting hammered most weeks

    Hecky is not the problem.. he's doing his best with what he has, the problem we have is that too many of our squad are not of championship quality yet.. and how fast or if ever they can reach a good consistent standard will be the make or break, if we can stay in this league or not
