We've won our last 4 games without conceding a goal. Walsall have only won one of their last 5 games, and have only scored twice over that period. Yet the bookies price Walsall - the away team - as favourites. I'll be the first to admit that our recent form may be as much down to good fortune as it is genuine improvement, but what are the bookies up to here!?
Because of their away record. Third best in the league. Don't mind being underdogs to be honest, less expectations
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/walsall/results Recent away form....... 1-0 win at Yeovil. 1-0 defeat at high flying Preston. 1-1 at Bradford. 2-0 at Donny. 2-0 at Colchester. 2-0 at Preston. 3-0 at MK Dons. 1-1 at Blunts. 2-2 at Tranmere. 0-0 at Coventry. 1-1 at Fleetwood. I could go on but they haven't lost an away league game since 21st of October at Crawley 1-0. They have only conceeded 5 away goals in their last 11 away league games.
We ended Gillingham's run, so let's end Warsaw's too. Not sure how far this run goes either, but our last game v Walsall was a 1-1 draw, prior to that we won the previous 4. Hope we're their bogey team (at Oakwell I mean).
It should have under 3.5 second half goals at 1/33 for 300 Bets Challenge written all over it. Records are there to be beaten and they only equaled our result at PNE and we did better at Blunts. Much better than us at MK though.
Because we are Barnsley. Build up any expectations and we fall flat on our bums..... been like that for years.
