Does anybody actually take notice of them and rush out to throw their money down the pan ?
What is the regulation on this sort of thing, surely needs looking into.
How many of you on here respond to seeing these ads?

It's incessant, I don't know for sure but I think it was around the time Blair was PM, that all this was allowed on TV. Money takes too much effort to earn without giving it to bookies.

Gambling can be as destroying as alcohol or cigarette addiction. It's amazing how much advertising there is. I personally think it is appalling. And the government is cutting the Money Advice Service down. So who will help the poorer who get poorer from gambling?

The nation just pi$$ed away their future. I doubt a few quid on horses will make a difference.

I've recently started working in the industry and you wouldn't believe the amount of money people put through the gaming machines in the shops..... 60% of the turnover in most shops it's absolutely amazing to me where people get all the money from to do it....
