Why are we still having drinks breaks each half?

    Understand it if it is 30 degree heat and even for the first match back but players have had ample time now to regain fitness.

    What is the logic behind it continuing?

    Because we're into summer and theres not much rest between matches. Not a fan.

    apparently they are considering keeping it on permanently after the comid ends . Also they are looking at keeping the 5 substitutions on too.

    Not for me. You can get a quick drink when a players down. Utility makes it a game or 4 quarters not 2 halves

    I enjoyed the drinks breaks today because we didn't conceed during them. They want knocking on the head though it just slows the game down and the fact most players CBA because there is no crowd atmosphere it just adds more to a pre season feel.

    Isn't it to ensure players get their own bottle, and don't share / pick up a random one?

    Yes. Partly.

    It’s also to give some time to disinfect all the match balls (that’s done in play too to be fair), plus the goal posts.

    Not sure it’s actually needed, but still.
