Does it take a chuffing radio sheffield reporter, asking the question on Wilsons future during another interview, to release the news that he'l be here next season????????? This sort of news should have 1. Broken on the BFC website/media 2. Been released as part of the season ticket news Its great news but once again massively poor PR.
I think the club would agree with you. I'm pretty sure they would have wanted to break this news themselves but they were beaten to the punch by Rob S.
Its all about respect. The club have been very cagey about Wilson and his contract from the day he joined and preferred to let us guess than make a firm commitment. Only a couple of week ago they still claimed they didnt know whether he would be here next week. Then they release season ticket prices without knowing which league we would be in or whom would be managing us - when in actual fact they did know who will be managing us and the league is out of their hands to some extent. Now they know they chose the give the news in a comment in an unrelated interview about another player. Just not the right way to go about things imho.
No it's not. It's about people getting annoyed. You don't have to get annoyed, it's a choice. Stop getting annoyed.
TBH I dont' think its matters a jot, who, what or where it was reported, Just glad Danny will be here chose what next season...
What we need is our own radio station. If Dearne fm cannot do it then set a new one up. I have stopped listening to the biased opinions on DeeDaa
To be honest, it was as good as announced once Danny got rid of Mellon in favour of bringing in his own assistant. That to me would have been a very strange decision unless he was thinking of the future in his mind. Start building now, and if we're still in this division next season, bonus. If we do sadly get relegated, we've laid the foundations to bounce straight back up. Danny was never going anywhere.
I could be wrong but at the Q&A they did with wilson and mansford am sure they both said that it would be a long term thing
