We can talk about 'strikers' and 'defenders' left backs, centre backs, and bloody 'scratch my back' but if the standard of football the team plays none of them are any good. Why cant they play like Norwich did second half, and why cant we pass the ball above two passes without losing it, and why do we keep lumping the ball up the middle hoping against hope somebody will get on the end of it, which they rarely do. The standard is declining week by week and the results are showing that decline. (doh) (doh)
Agreed, there not playing as a team Players such as Howard, JCR and Disco are just not passing/crossing to the front two in good postions I cant remember one decent cross yesterday. (N)
There was at least 1 decent cross First Half - JCR went all the way to the goal line and hit an excellent hard low cross that Odi just had to tap in - for some reason he didnt touch the ball - no idea why not - he mistimed something though
RE: There was at least 1 decent cross Its one of them chicken and egg things the strikers probably can't be arsed looking because the don't think they will get a decent ball in and the others can't be arsed putting a decent ball in because they know the 'strikers' wont get on the end of it anyway :'(
