Why did the 'Transfer Window' not shut yesterday

    I think it was because

    31st August fell on a Sunday so the F.A. gave all clubs a 24 hour extension to the deadline.

    It was more to do with being able to register players at the various associations as their offices are cloced on Sundays.</p>

    bank is shut on a sunday :D Theres never any transfer activity on a sunday, for whatever reason, so it made sense for them to extend the transfer deadline.

    I managed to get &pound;250 out from the hole in the wall? :D :D its admistration, not banks that the deadline was extended.

    Thanks, now I know, but I work on Sunday why can't they ??

    And of course they have had all of 2 months to arrange transfers :D :D :D
