    I can't fathom it.

    We're firing on all cylinders.
Wolves are utterly dire at the minute.

We have strikers in form and players all over who can create.
    Wolves are struggling to score.

Why, oh why do I have a bad feeling about tomorrow night? We should win comfortably. Shouldn't we?

Come on Reds - lets not get complacent. Flicker needs to keep the lads feet on the ground and we need to turn in a professional performance tomorrow. Wolves have some players who can hurt teams if they aren't at the races. Come on Reds, dig deep, continue to play like we have been and lets get those all important three points leading into another tough game on Saturday at Bristol.

    COYR!!!

We should win comfortably? That's complacency, right there. Toughest test of the season so far

Because you did a deal with the devil and swapped it for a cup win? ;)

Same here. I'll be reasonably satisfied if we just avoid defeat tonight. All things have to come to an end according to the law of averages, both our good run and their dire one. From reading their boards, it sounds like they aren't actually playing that badly, so something is probably due to click for them at some point, plus we are going to struggle to keep up our recent form without any dips at all. Obviously I'd be delighted with a win, but a draw is definitely not going to be the end of the world.

No wins in six since Dean Nicholas Saunders took over. He clearly has not had the "Flicker Effect".

Know what you mean though - when we actually start expecting to win......... we've crashed so many times before in that situation.

But then..... we've never had Flicker before! :)

If you are tipping us to win that's it, I'm not going.

I'm not having this 'law of averages' rubbish. The more games we win in a row, the more likely we are to win the next game - confidence, feel good factor, fans enthusiasm etc.

If all the fans are nervous then that's going to translate onto the pitch and the players are liable to make mistakes. I'd be a whole lot more worried if I was a Wolves fan!

Years of experience supporting the Reds

Looks like we have sold quite a few more tickets than for recent games
    Wolves havent won this year
    We are in form

just the sort of game we will lose....

Its happened many many times before and it will happen again - just please not tonight

At least we havent got Football focus doing a feature on us as the in form side as well

one of my earliest memories of this effect in Clarkes first season - we were going well on a good run and playing Rochdale who were the bottom side in the leagie - cameras were there good crowd - over 10000 for a 4th division match

We lost 0-3 and deservedly so

you never shake the nagging worry that its going to happen again.

Knowing us we will lose this one then go and win at Bristol.

What we still havent really got used to is the Flicker effect - and whether its long term or not - I still keep waitng for the wheels to fall off.

The good thing is we are all worried - and I can bet Flicker has been drumming in to the players how vital this game is and we need to treat it the same as the previous 8

The Sun tipster today has backed us to win. On the otherhand Racing Post have us down to lose in their treble for tonight. They mention our poor form in losing to many of the teams around us in the league. They mention only four home league wins all season. How tonight Wolves have an highly rated Liverpool kid making his debut at left back. That they dominated at Derby on saturday and their defence has looked better since Saunders has arrived and brought in Gorkis.
