Why do i never seem to fit in with someones definition

    of a true fan! I wish they'd have told me this back in 1978 - I wouldn'thalf have saved some money!:D I could have bought the club!

    Season ticket holder for 12 years - travelled over from Liverpool for the last 20 years - hardly miss a home game, didn't miss a home game between 1980 - 1989 , working , with a family and a time consuming job , size 9 shoes . 38 inch waist and little stumpy legs! :D Oh and i hate Wednesday , United and Leeds!

    thats really fantastic

    had season ticket every year for 9yr from 93 to 01. changed job to work shifts and had two children in following years, yet still had four season tickets along with one with son lat year. obviously not as dedicated as you, so not true fan.


    you say buy the club in 78 , i was only 2
