Why do people keep saying we played well?

    We hardly had the ball to string two passes together until it was 4-0. We didn't get in to close them down- we could barely get close to them for the first hour. Fair enough, they're class, but we showed next to nothing tactically or physically for most of the match

    indeed, I think the last match i can remember in which we were so outplayed was Vialli's Chelsea

    I have no idea why anybody would think we were anything but poor today. Beaten by a better team yes but too many of our players just didn't turn up.
