Why do threads always seem to go off at a tangent after four or five replies?...

    A poster will post a thread about a BFC related matter then someone will post an agreement or anti-opinion then there will be a bit of banter about why the poster is a good lad or a complete w....r then someone else will chip in and make a comment about w.....s in general and then the entire thread will be reduced to a discussion about w.....s. I wonder why some posts develop into grotesque mutations like they do....
