Been thinking exactly the same :(

£27 for match day tickets (Me + young lad)
£4.50 pre-match pint and glass of coke in local pub
£2.50 two bottles of pop and packet of crips in local shop
    £3 return train tickets
£3 Bottle of beer in ground
£2.10 sausage roll for young lad

£42.10 to follow the reds today - There's a feckin recession on you know :(

At least I got to wear my £40 Wembley BFC shirt for the 4th time. Not bringing much luck. Won 1 - Lost 3 /poo

See you all down Oakwell next week. (doh)

    Leicester don't concede many

Possibly not a bad team - but they have had real problems scoring goals this season. We were never going to get an easy win today...

We didn't struggle. Struggle suggests we put up a fight

we rolled over and died and the manager did his usual, 3 up front...

    who is being a prat?

Our team did not put up a fight today and simon davey made the same 'tactical' subs that he has in 90% of games we've been losing.

RE: who is being a prat?

You aren't the only one. If the team loses then they haven't tried. It's a stupid and childish thing to say. Also if Davey hadn't made the subtitutions and we'd still lost you'd complain about that.

We lost because we didn't score the chances we had and didn't get the penalty we should have. It has been the same most of the season but we can't afford better players.

Last week we were world-beaters cos we won two games away. This week it's sack the manager an the players don't try co we lost two home games. Pathetic.

    Did you go?

There was VERY little effort today. Long ball from the back four, howard and co jogging around in midfield, JCR came on and didnt break sweat.

And people have complained about davey's substitutions all year, 3 strikers on the bench, how many times has he used 3? there's a challenge for you to find out.
3 up front when we're losing, how many times has this tactic of '**** it, the midfield is playing **** so we'll just bypass them and hit it to the big guys' actually gained us a point?

It wasn't effort that was lacking...

...it was quality in the last third and we were clueless after we went behind.

    RE: cheap tickets

thats a lot of money mate.

which is why the club should have had a cheap ticket offer on today or next week.

it is beyond belief they havent.

    There's no hope.

I guess they wanted to lose then (muppet).

As for three strikers on the bench. Why not? Gives more options. We've got Bobby Beckenbauer who can go into defense if a problem there. Next you'll be saying that it's silly to have a goalie on the bench cos they are never needed.

Oh, and of course I went. We were by far the better team after the first half hour even though we made very little effort.

We bother because you can't help who... or what... you love. It's a disease!

Anyway when it all comes together on the pitch, it makes the world seem a better place. Pity it's not very often :D

It's threads that like this that make the bbs seem pointless

Someone posts something slightly negative which they are completely entitled to do if the performance warrants it (as yesterday's did)

then you always get one of the usual suspects coming out with the old "how dare you slag X off?" "why do you bother going?" "you're not a proper fan" etc etc

it's these people who are fecking pathetic
