Why do we insist on watering the pitch every 5 minutes?

Am I the only one that's fed up of watching our players slip over every two seconds or seeing the ball fail to slow down enough and zipping out for a goalkick when we inevitably try the long ball for the 700th time of the day?

Stop pissing about watering the pitch davey, it's not exactly done you any good yet in the last 3 seasons of **** you've served up

I had exactly that conversation with my Dad yesterday

As Mifsud fell over for the umpteenth time.

Not convinced it works if playing a slick passing game - it definitely doesnt work when playing long ball

well the reason we do it is because...

if all other excuses fail then Simon has the slippy pitch excuse as a fallback option.
