if a club wants our players they should put a bid in or **** off,and another thing if we do gain promotion our better players will be needed next year just look at Hull strengthened a good squad and are still strugling,Burns was a special case I suppose but I would like Scott to be focused on the massive game at the weekend.

He probably would be if he was in the team.

I know what you mean though.

    Flinders never gets a game.
If they came to watch him the scout report would be something like: "judging by the way he was sat on the bench, he has an excellent sitting technique, showing good concentration and composure" "he made a good save during the warm up"

therfore he has to go to the club on trial to show em what he can do, by training with them and probably playing a practice game.

Has he got to go on trail though at this stage of the season thats my point, maybe if we were mid table nothing to play for fair enough but we've got 9 games to get out of this **** hole league and letting our best squad members out on trial is not on.

    Erm...

why won't he be focused on the game on Saturday? He'll be back Thursday, which means he'll train with Barnsley on Friday, and be there for the game on Saturday. What harm is it doing him getting experience from other clubs/goalkeepers?

If Barnsley want to sell him for 1,000,000 quids....YAY! That'll be nice money to purchase the so called players you speak of that'll stengthen our squad for the championship, or league 1, wherever we may be next season.

He wont be playing anyway, Colgan is 1st choice.

he can turn up at 2 o clock Saturday and it wouldnt make a difference. 2 days is more than enough preperation time for akeeper who is going to sit on the bench doing fck all.

Burns went on trial then fecked of a week later, not usually negative about the Reds but if he's worth £££ whats the rush, hope the clubs not starting to loose sight of our main aim this season!!

    Ah but...

Flinders can't fook off can he? The clubs looking at him are all English.

Something about a transfer window not allowing players to move comes to mind.

    Transfer windows are nowt

teams get around it by agreeing to loan the player until the window opens and agree a fee later e.g. Nathan Tyson.

    Maybe i'm wrong, but...

i thought loans were emergency loans only? Like injury crisis? I feel Wigan have numerous keepers fit and available.

the transfer window is a waste of time cos if chelsea want him all they have to do is come up with the money we can then terminate his contract leaving him a free agent to join chelsea

    Your right

    Thats for Premiership teams.
In the football league teams can still loan players until March 26th (cant remember exact date, some time this month anyway). After that only emergency loans can be made.
So your right Chelsea and Wigan wont be able to loan him so he'll definately be here until the summer.
