now most people know i don't like him whatsoever but mark thereev's words...the press will crucify him over the dodgy dealings if he gets the job.

plus if he gets done for tax twisting.... there is no way he can have the job

I think he would be good for England, plays the right kind of football that would take advantage of our natural strengths, you can learn from Spain but there's no point trying to beat them at their own game because you won't do it, got to adapt the English way and I think that's what he does. However, as you say if he gets done for being as dodgy as he obviously is (allegedly) then he can't have the job.

In that case I would like to see it given to Martin O'Neil.

Not everyone wants Redknapp for England.

I'm not convinced he would be best for the job (even before his alleged tax offences). Having said that I also haven't said he couldn't do a good job either.
Our lass hasn't mentioned it either. So there's at least 2 of us that's not thrown our caps into Redknapp camp.
    Hope this helps

I think he is an excellent Manager. I loked him as a player too. I can't understand all the hatred against him which I see on here. Spurs are a joy to watch almost everytime I see them play, plus he's a motivator and an excellent man manager, so, why would he not be right for England? I hope he gets the job.

Because people seem to think the England job should go to someone English even if we don't have an obvious candidate with an history of winning things.

Because he's the best REALISTIC candidate for the job

    Bent or not

You could argue there are better men for the job, but would any of them realistically take the job?

i can confirm that thereev would be available if called upon by the fa...... however i take no bull and would want the legend that is John Barnes as my number 2. legend that he is.....he would still be number 2 to thereev.

    hope this helps

As good as he was as a player, his managerial credentials are a little questionable. Then again, he's never been thereev's number 2 before.
