Holloway seems to think it makes a big difference, I simply don't.

Don't their home/away kits have different sponsors? Might be the answer. Not the main sponsor on the front though.

Did i hear him right? Cos I could've sworn he said (after Flicker said their chief exec turned his request down) "I got the kits sorted so i don't know what he's talking about", quickly followed by "I'm not having my players playing in their away kits at home".
Genuine question, cos I've been a bit bunged up of late and didn't have the tv up loud :/

Yes, that's the main one. Might be another one on the back though.

    He did.

Someone said it was something to do with the under armour or what ever Barnsley have on under the shirt which if so then that's just stupid. the under armour got to be the same colour as the shirt.

That's what confused me, mate. No idea if he meant he'd "sorted it" so we could wear OUR kit or theirs.

We should change our shirts next year hours before the match just so they clash.

They then would have to wear shirts emblazoned with the initials of our new sponsors Trans World Aircraft Travel Suppliers.

It's a power thing, it is who you are. As a home team you have the pick and I agree you go with your home kit. I also think that where possible you should always play in your first choice kit, winds me up when teams play in their away kit when there was no clash. In fact I've even seen teams switch to an away kit that has more of a clash than their home kit would.

They can't score in either kit, and Holloway is a duchebag.

Didn't Aston Villa wear their away shirt at home to West Ham a few years ago due to both WHU's kits clashing with their home kit? In conclusion, Holloway is a t*t.

Sounded like that. I think he maybe meant he spoke to the ref and didn't have a problem with our kit but he wasn't swapping theirs.

But maybe that's the issue when you have stripped shirts. Think there should be a rue that players must wear long sleeve shirts. Thought this for ages - 2 arms go up and one hand touches the ball....but tey both have short sleeves on so you can't tell who handballed....much better if they have long sleeve shirts

    Starting to feel the pressure.

Palace looked odds on for promotion, but looking shaky with their current form.

Re: Starting to feel the pressure.

For me no home team should be made to change their strip. As was said somewhere yesterday we have had 9 months to prepare for this clash of shirts and if our club can't be a***d to get it sorted its not Palace's fault or the refs.

Re: Starting to feel the pressure.

Officials were consulted about it midweek and said that the kits were fine and didn't clash.

    The officials yesterday thought otherwise.

Not the clubs fault, they tried to rectify the situation before it occurred.
