Bobby Hassle testimonial is going to be incorporated into one of our friendlies in the summer, don't bother Ben just fu'ck him off he's only given the club and local communities 10 years service, just get him on field at half time against Crawley Town next season and put his passport photo up in legends suite that should do eh

Hear hear. It is an absolute disgrace how badly the club have handled it. Is it really that decking hard for the club to put a tiny bit of effort into organising something? The club is an embarrassment at times. Still at least bfc drinkers got an evening darn the pub with Ben eh?

Bobby has not exactly been living in poverty whilst he was at oakwell for ten years.....so i see no need for a testimonial...they are carp anyway.

However the powers that be at jokewell at the moment don't seem to like him that much is clear.......he must not be in the clique.

    oh well never mind

I don't think its about the money these days. Its about showing respect and the fans having a proper chance to say thank you and show their appreciation for the effort he gave to our club for 10 years and the exemplary way he conducted himself from start to finish.

Surely it has been made clear in the past that the arrangements for this testimonial game have to be
made by Bobby himself and his representatives. This is for tax reasons.

It is about money though as well as the things you say. Bobby wants to raise as much as he can for his charities. Not good
if the taxman takes a slice of that.

Nothing surprises you with BFC these days with the clowns running what is now a circus.

Calm down calm down - the club have said they can't be too involved as it would have tax implications for the money Bobby would get...I bought that, I'm guessing you lot aren't?

Should have taken place 12 months ago. The moment has been lost now. Yet people will still turn up for whatever is done for him, but nowhere near as many as would have gone to see it a year ago.

The impact of a testimonial disappeared a long time ago for me. I don't know the facts behind the scenes though, so I'm not gonna start taking potshots at the Club.
