Why hasn't Muller been picked up before?

He's a great keeper you would have thought that the big clubs would have heard about him before now - he must have a cr*p agent!

    Good Question

And that's what worries me - he's got some "making up for lost time" to do.

So if he drops the odd cross or flaps a bit from time to time, could work in our favour :D

I have to say it's summat that's crossed my mind a few times. I find it surprising that such a talent has been buried in the wilds of Norway without being rooted out by somebody earlier, especially with this blindfold stuff going around.

Whether or not he has been considered, but not thought to be good enough until put in the shop window by the Reds, I don't know, but our discovery has certainly paid dividends. I would really like him to stay andI suspect the club won't let him go unless they get an offer they can't refuse. If so, then we should get a much needed cash injection.

However, I would like to think that the club is lining up a contingency plan for a replacement if it comes to that, especially as we don't seem to have any credible first team goalkeeping back-up now. I am sure that after doing so well this season, and still in serious contention for a playoff place, the powers that be have no intention of losing what we have achieved so far.

    RE: Good Question

Could it be cos he does have the odd flap? So far it has not cost us, but it could prove more costly for a mid table Prem side against the likes of Man U, Arsenal etc.

Still, for me he's saved us enough points to be able to have the odd flap, and if the odd flap stops the Prem sides from signing him I think he should be told to have a good few flaps when we are winning by two clear goals!

He played for Lillestrøm who, at the time

were top of their Premiership. The quality of football aint that bad when you consider that Rosenborg finished way down the table. The wages aint that bad either.

There are plenty of players out there that are just as good as players in some of the best teams in this country who are player 3-4th even none league football. It's all a matter of being seen by the right people at the right time.

Lillestrom fans said when we signed him he would go to a Prem club in January

Fans usually are very good judges cast your minds back to when we signed Hassel and Tony Vaughan from Mansfield their fans said we would be praising Hassel come the end of the season and that Vaughan was a donkey they looked as if they had it the wrong way round with the stick Hassel got to start with but they were right.
