We need (playing 4-4-2) at the moment a right back, Scowen + one in midfield (if Scowen plays defensive then possibly Hourihane will do, providing we accept we are only attacking down the left and might get nullified when being so obvious), and a rock solid old fashioned no.9 who will cause enough havoc so that it drops for Winnall to do what he can. Cos he can't do owt else anywhere else.

We're pitting strength as much as wits in Div 1.

More than owt else we need organisation at the back. It's always easy to say the players are crap. But every back four/three/five recently look bereft of coaching or team nous when it comes to pressure. When it comes to defending.

It's all unbalanced. We stumble along not knowing what we might see next time we turn up at the Well.

There's beauty in stability. In knowing who your (e.g.) no.4 is going to be. This year. Next year.

A new 19 year old upfront? Every other game (slight exaggeration)? This is a new reality that will empty the ground.

tbh I might welcome League 2 if the players stay long enough for me to perceive their personality from up in the stands.

Orange Juice. Rip it up and start again

My favourite sentence of the day. I'm not sure what it means, but I like it.
