You aren't going to knock Simon Davey because you remember us getting promoted?

    How queer.

So tell me why you think Davey is better?

He is just as inept with the subs and the tactics are worse most of the time. The players do not look any fitter under Davey. so what is it?

They have both being lucky to achieve what they have with us. But Davey still has the chance to convince us!

Why I AM going to knock Simon Davey ...........................

Centre back at full back. Right back in midfield (again and again) no left back signed so basically no left back.

    why do fans

feel the need to talk about past managers when other fans are talking about the present team, situation and management. Some fans loved AR others did not it is all irrelelvant now, all that matters is what we do now

    Reasosn I am going to be negetive towards the team and managament;

    I remember Danny Wilson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Square pegs in round holes time after time. Simon thinks he's some kind of tactical genius.
In reality he is anything but.

RE: Why I AM going to knock Simon Davey ...........................

Reasons im knocking Davey, he has no idea what to do when we go behind, time and time again we go behind so what does he do, throws a striker on takes a winger off never ever works especially when the striker he brings on has to have the worst goals per game ratio in the football league.

Left early last night but had the last 20 mins on radio stoke, there commentators said:

"Barnsley now have about 6 players playing upfront but there just standing anywhere, there shape has completely disapeared"

"Barnsley have come into this game in the second half after looking very unprofessional in the first half"

RE: Why I AM going to knock Simon Davey ...........................

The reasons I am going to knock him are as follows:

Apart from a poxy result at Liverpool and a few half decent signings he's basically ****.

    - No tactical nous

    - Plays players out of position

    - Arrogant to the point of failure

    - No balance to the squad

    - Glaring **** ups in the transfer market

    - Failed to improve an already poor defence

    - Persistence with ODJ

    - Persistence with Hassell in midfield

    - No discernible pattern of play or game plan

    - We lose. A lot.

    - We concede. A lot.

    - We score, but not enough.

    - He talks complete and utter B*ll*cks after every game

In fact I could go on but I'm sick to death of saying the same things about him. Nothing ever changes. Same **** every week.

I'm not going to argue with those of you who think he's up to the job as you're entitled to your opinion and I might well be wrong in what I say.

However, can anyone provide me with any evidence to back up the claims that Davey is a good manager other than a handful of decent signings and an admittedly great performance against Chelsea?

I just wonder without being "Silly" and I apologise in advance if you think I am but, are there an x amount of players at the club playing to get Davey out. The reason I make
such a resounding statement is somethime I heard down at the training ground from an official who was told to keep us out. He didn't agree with Davey on this matter and
said that his attitude to us was no different to that of some of the players and that he was disliked at the club by many of the playing staff. It could be said however that any
number of players at any club would nodoubt express a dislike for the manager . For whatever reason , I just wounder if there is any truth in the opinion of that official.

    I would say not

My personal opinion is that any players that dislike Davey would be the many that he refuses to play regardless of how badly we need them.
