he was good lat season when he came ,but not miraculous. Also the fact remains he was actually here last term and we struggled to the end despite the son of God Adam. So to that end if he signs he is not actually any improvementto the squad, but just something we had last year. Personally I would be more than interested in a new striker or left back.

Parky no one can predict the future i agree and yes it was half of a seaon on loan with us when he subbed more than he played. but this kid as got talent, ok you can say why as liverpool let him go for peanuts, but end of day they let the lad go to forest who is suppose to be big talent there thretfall who they are looking to off load on a loan deal, we got to take advantage of top 4 teams competing against each other in transfer market paying 30 million for foreign players and letting good local talent like hammill, thretfall and the lad thats just gone to forest, go to smaller clubs they dont all make it but a lot do.

Problem is now Davey's gonna be leaving him on the bench

He's got too much faith in JCR, Colace & Anderson.... unless he's promised t'old Adam that if he chooses us over the other clubs he'll be guaranteed a starting place

    Very harsh

Hammill will more than likely replace Devaney on the right though.

We will be a more solid unit with that but Devaney is decent enough cover.

Agreed. It was harsh, and he is decent cover...

but i just wanted to emphasise the point that Hammill is much much better.

    RE: Very harsh

    hamill
    de silva
    colace
    jcr

    and with young butterfield
    thomson
    and devaney

you cant knock the midfield, or defence or the keeper

    now up front ????????

boggo and hume, possibly ko to come of age ? maken from the bench

could be the makings of a half decent season

smile and think good thoughts after all we are a town not a "BIG CLUB"
    like dem deedar barstewards

so a couple or 3 signings can only give us hope after all statistics show we are a good championship (1st division) club

so mile and stop knocking :)

I think we need to strengthen the defence.

We seem to be very short of cover in this area.
Moore is not getting any younger and he will struggle to be fit for a full season, plus there will suspensions etc. I think that we need at least a couple of players in to help out here.

    I'd hazard a guess...

... that he's he's much better than you.
