Why is BFC wasting its time + effort in giving a pub player Like Rooney a trial

    Wednesday sign Barkley from Everton and we are giving a pub player a trial, total waste of time and effort, a striker / midfielder who scores 7 in 40 odd games for Macclesfield who now plays in the 3rd tier of USA soccer isn't going to get arses back on seats at Oakwell.

    Surely we have academy lads who are just as good if not a lot better than Rooney

    Christ Almighty Hill have a look in the mirror, there are better players at Athersley Rec than Rooney - ambition - my arse

    LOWER LEAGUE PLAYERS = LOWER LEAGUE TEAM

    being given a trial at oakwell

    if he wasn't good enough for Maccelsfield why are we wasting our time on him ???????

    Hill sometimes gets its so wrong its laughable

    To be fair I believe he left Macclesfield after refusing a contact to try bigger and better things.

    I do agree though with the sentiments about the youth players.
