at the fact that there is a huge queue? It was always going to be the case once the club announced 2 tickets per ST holder. People want to make sure that their second ticket is near to if not next to themselves. In order to do that you have to get there early. Simple see, didn't no one realise that? But anyone there queing today for their 1 ticket is a true numpty, agreed.
Dunno but I think ... it puts pay to the seemingly widely held notion on here yesterday that there would be so many unsold tickets they'd be selling them off for confetti......
thats why i went down but after seeing queue likely that i wouldnt get one so said sod it my son will have to sit where ever.
Good Opening Point I know four none Barnsley fans (Sunderland, two Huddersfield fans and a none Football fan) who all want me to get them tickets for this match. Unfortunately my two season ticket booklets are taken. But there's a genuine buzz around the area and so tickets won't last for long on general sale.
Is it really worth queing for three to four hours just so you can sit next to a family member who probably hasn't been to a match for years, they'll be doing your head in asking what the players names are etc.Im getting tickets for my family as far away from me as possible.
if anyone is thinking of popping down, can they enlighten the club as to why it's happening. http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1246479,00.html does make you wonder about how competently the business side of the club is being run.
