Why is it always BIG Phil Scolari and not just Phil Scolari?

    Commentator's say it, it's written in all the papers BIG Phil Scolari!</p>

    Might be something to do with the fact that he's quite a big bloke. Only guessing. Seriously, that's been his nickname for as long as I can remember. Long John Baldry and Wee Willie Harris are others. Don't think it's anything offensive.

    It come from his Brazilian nickname Felipao which means

    Big Phil evidently, Felipe/ Felipao? just changed it a bit He has other nicknames like Sergeant Major. Dunno whether the big phil is cos of his personality, or his size, probably both.
