Serious question.

Why do we let our lives be influenced to such an extent by an often remote sporting result?

As well as facing redundancy for the last 2 months I've had to endure the self inflicted nightmare of following the reds through a disastrous August.

My phone's been going off for the last 20 minutes with mates sending messages about us leading/winning. Life is good and it's nice to have mates who appreciate how **** it is when the footie's going wrong on top of everything else (don't ask).

Good news on the dodged bullet, by the way. Nice one.

I find when we win the more beer I drink, on a Tuesday night its not a good thing as Wednesday morning's struggle to get up for work ain't good.
