It's not Shepherd or Davey come to that who are playing so badly.

It's about time the players took some of the blame.

Davey has lost the dressing room, Al.

I'd give anything for some Andy Ritchie team spirit right about now.

Since Ritchie left we have played crap

We have brought in an inexperienced Manager
    Division 2 players
    Mucked about with midfielders

And we saw it five years ago.

Like Mr Blair, the Board ignore history.

    All together now...

    The Reds are going down
    The Reds are going down
And now you better believe it........
    The Reds are going down.

    What can they do though?

For whatever reason, the players are just not good enough. Davey knows this and I think it is the reason for the negative tactics. Any attempt to chase the game seems to result in disaster.

The players look like they have been told they aint good enough either.

How come we are able to give everyone a game earlier in the season then?

It all stems from the top.

I can't really disagree with that in principle

But in what way were we better earlier in the season? We've looked short all the way through.

Irrespective of that, I think over the course of the season quality does begin to tell.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Played much better football. If we'd had quality centre forward(s) (Ferenczi?) at that stage, we'd have won some of the games we ended up losing because of failure to finish off the multitude of chances we created. Now we have a decent looking striker, we're not even creating the chances. And we know we can't defend. It's a lose/lose heavily situation.

Agreed whilst giving everyone a game,

we looked a little short of being able to put teams away comfortably.

However signing 7 or 8 players who arent good enough didnt help us at all. If the players arent better than what we have what is the point in signing them?
