Why is our midfield so weak when we have so many decent players ?

I blame the JCR situation, we ain't strong enough to play 4-4-2 so we give JCR the free role. Anderson should play in the free role thats where he plays his better football. All in all Davey just does'nt know what to do with JCR and its cost us points this season by making us unbalanced.

what makes you say that we have a weak midfield?

I would have said that our midfield is very good, very competitive, keeps the ball well, breaks nicely, protects the back four most of the time. I'd say that our main problem is in the final third where we just don't have a scooby. I just don't think we're very well organised in that area of the pitch - it frustrates the hell out of me.

Anderson and Colace don't really drive the team forward

SD is just trying to make the best use of JCR, because otherwise, there aren't any goals from central midfield. Anderson / Colace won't score in a month of Sundays...

i think a lot of teams are now very much aware of JCR's mazy runs and line more men up behind the ball when they see him coming. Forest had his number and knew where he was going. This means that we now need a plan B - JCR to look up! and deliver a sweet ball into the box. (simple isn't it - ?)

RE: what makes you say that we have a weak midfield?

Because we have to play three in the middle when 4-4-2 compliments us much better as a team, is it that we just don't have the right blend or too scared to go at teams fearing a hiding?
