<table class="layoutTable" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%" border="0"><tbody><tr><td class="layout" valign="top"><div class="article"><div class="articleText"><div class="articleHeadlineAndBody" id="articleHeadlineAndBody"><h3 class="headline">Macca: Why I Have Moved On </h3><div class="lastEditDate" id="lastEditDate">Posted on:Fri 13 Jul 2007</div><div class="articleBody" id="articleBody"> Michael McIndoe came to Compton to say his goodbyes this morning and explained his reasons for wanting to move to Bristol City.</p> The winger, who only joined Wolves last November from Barnsley for £250,000, signed for the newly promoted Championship side last night. The fee is undisclosed.</p> The Scot initially signed for Wolves on loan and became a permanent transfer in the January window. He went on to play over 30 games for the club, scoring three goals.</p> He told WOW: "I had a great seven months at Wolves, I've made a lot of friends and wouldn't have a bad word to say about anyone here. It's purely for footballing reasons that I felt it was right to move on to pastures new.</p> "I've played in all the games since I came to Molineux but I still haven't had a look-in with the Scottish squad.</p><div class="continueLink">Article continues </div><div class="articleMPU"><div>Advertisement</div></div><a name="continue"></a> "I'm my own biggest critic and I was getting concerned towards the end of the season. I felt that there was another 30% to come from me and after playing 15 then 20 games it still wasn't coming through.</p> "I felt I wasn't getting enough of the ball but the team was doing well so I couldn't ask for a change in the way we were playing. I wouldn't dare do that - but obviously you want to play a bigger part. </p> "It was nothing to do with anything else like competition for places. In the last eight and a half years I've only missed 16 games so I think that shows that I don't worry about competition. You will have that at any club.</p> "There were two reasons why I wanted to go to City. Firstly I think they have been a sleeping giant but they have got promotion andare looking to progress. I think football is changing and clubs can come up into the Championship and do very well.</p> "But also I've worked with the manager GaryJohnson for three years (at Yeovil) and we know what we can get out of each other.</p> "It was never my intention to leave Wolves so soon. I only bought a house in the area a couple of months ago - which I wouldn't have done if I thought I was going to move.</p> "I'll always have a soft spot for the club now because I've made so many
