as we got very little help when we were in the **** if i remember right rotherham would not let us collect out side there ground but all the other south yorkshire clubs did
Not sure if that's true.... but that is hardly the fans fault is itand it's them that will suffer if they go. Also, it's in our interests that they survive...
RE: Okay.... the fans are as much to blame as they have not got behind them at all even when ronnie moore was there and a different chairman
How easy it is to forget We should all be behind Rotherham, not for the club, not for the team, but for fellow football fans.
well if you want a different reason how about we stand to loose the most if there results become void
RE: How easy it is to forget We've had enough discussions on this board this week about whether two wrongs make a right.
Maybe by "the fans"......... ..........Redstar's refering to those who have stood by them through thick and thin.
There's absolutely no reason why you should No one is forcing you. You can do as you please. Personally, I know how it feels when the future of your club is in doubt and with that in mind I'm more than willing to put the change in my pocket into a bucket collection to help the cause.
re: why should we help Rotherham? Rotherham is a big enough town to support a League 1 team. If people in Rotherham want a team, they should go down to Millmoor and support them.
RE: You're new. Tell us a bit about yourself. You know my alter ego well, we argued enough earlier this week, I'm at home today and usually only post from work but now we have registered users only I have to use a (slightly) different name from home. AKA Benny Cake
Allowing "smaller" clubs like Rotherham (or us) to fold just plays into the hands of the handful of clubs who would like to completely ditch the rest of the leagues and play in a European Super League - we all know who they are. The survival of Rotherham and the rest of the football league is essential if we are to retain the traditional flavour of British football. Remember, if they had had their way, there would have been no promotion parties in Barnsley in April 1996.
RE: Allowing "smaller" clubs like Rotherham (or us) to fold Well said, one of these days it will happen and a club will fold, that will be the top of a slippery slope for a lot of clubs.
RE: well if you want a different reason An irrelevance; I can't see Rotherham taking many points off Southend, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Brentford, Swansea, and Colchester even if they do make it to the end of the season. In fact void results will probably benefit us.
RE: What did we argue about? Did I win? I'm one of those there fluffies who thought it wrong to publish the cartoons, I don't go for capital punishment either.
